We have received many inquiries for starters for the Dynahoe. We have been able to determine that the Elreg starter part# 37-1013 can be used in the Dynahoe 190 fitted with a Detroit 353 diesel engine if modifications are made to the motor mount. It’s a tight fit.

Elreg repair kit #211-1120 can be used to repair the old original Dynahoe starter. If the original starter has a 12 tooth clockwise positork drive the Elreg replacement part number is 205-482. This works on the Dynahoe 140 also fitted with the Detroit 353 diesel engine.
